Saw some paperwork not that long ago that suggested that it would cost 100+ million to enable a train platform at a CBD rail station.  Not only were the obvious things covered off, such as platform fittings, escalators &amp; lifts; but the organisation want to cover off the less obvious things such as replacing the aging signaling network with fibre optics.

I couldn&#039;t help but thinking, not only do they have snouts in the trough, but the two front trotters as well.</description>
